Day 110

April 20, 2022

Busy Day.  

I had back to back appointments all day long.  But I made it up to the rookery around 4 and it was 52, windy and sunny.  It was beautiful and full of birds.  

Lots of birds and just an overall feeling of life.  I love watching turtles climb up onto stuff.  I don't know why.  Also, green is beginning to pop up all over.  May is right around the corner and you can tell even if its supposed to freeze tonight.

I think the final nest count is 10. That means 20 heron.  There are at least five common merganser pairs, too. I just love seeing my friends in the afternoon.  

I got out of the car and walked around a little today to try and find the woodpecker.  I think it's over Sherry's house in the tall trees, but I didn't find him.  

This photograph reminds me of my great great grandfather's paintings. 

I need to finish by July 1 three manuscripts.  I am stating that as intention.  I would like to complete the 3 projects I have been working on since January 2020.  Hold me to it, ok?
