Day 120
April 30, 2022
Happy Birthday, Jiah.

Today was a beautiful day. The Farmers' Market opened and there were plenty of shows and workshops and store specials downtown.  All of which led to no one forming an actual audience at Lava.  So instead Jan videoed JuPong's workshop and I was the audience member.  We will post it on the website.  It's really worth watching.  It inspired me to write a prologue to the Heron Project.
After words, Anthony, who was a student of mine 15 years ago, came and helped Tom Swetland hang his show.  It's so fun to have new shows go up.  Tomorrow is the opening.  Tom's work is fascinating to explore.

I went for my ride a little later today, I was there around 6 and the temperature was in the mid 60s.  I called Annie to catch up and while I was on the phone the herons flew all over the place.  When I finally returned to my camera they were back to sitting on eggs.

There were deer in the pastures along with the black horses.  There were turkey, too.
There was a muskrat visible in the rookery but the beaver was not out in the open in the new spot.

I started a gratitude list tonight because the final two Sylvia's prompt was to write a poem about hope or gratitude.  I had been thinking about how grateful I've been since last September.  I have been able to do so much creative work and I believe I'm going to be able to pump it up a notch now.  I am grateful.

I don't know whether Karen or Ember took this picture of Eliza Jean at 4 months, but she sure is cute.
