Day 93
April 3, 2022
Day of rest beginning with an eye on Jan and Doug's birds.

What a successful experience?  OMG.  I am so delighted and so happy with the outcome of this project.  Last night's house was more than full. People stayed for the discussion afterwards.

I am now jonsing for my bed and for the pool.  My body needs to hang in the water big time.

Had some dinner with Di and debriefed the play, thank you, Di.

Very active rookery, what fun.  i counted 13 birds in front of me at once.  They were really active and noisy, their dinosaur barks echoing.  We are clearly in a new chapter.
I think Jasper is in the bottom left hand nest #7

The canal was filled with mergansers, both common and hooded.  There were a few mallard, too, but overall, just not as many birds as usual.  The swan were the cove and there were some geese there, too.  All in all, besides the heron, birds were low key on this grey still day.

I think they are home and safe in Maine now.
