Happy Birthday, Barb.

If you don't know Eveline McDougall's work, check it out.  She is a choral director for Fiery Hope.  They used to be called Amandla and sang for some pretty cool people in the activist's world.   She gave a very personal upfront presentation today talking about effecting peoples' lives with music.  Very sweet.

We were a vaccinated and masked audience on a Saturday afternoon and it may have been just what the doctor ordered.  We listened, we shared and we sang.

Afterwards I went to the rookery where it was raining and grey, but dominated by swallows and mergansers.  It was pretty fun to watch.

It's my older sister's birthday which caused a flurry of family connection.  I always like it when that happens, a half dozen members of the family come out of the woodwork and say hello.
