Day 126

Babies in the Rookery
I think we skipped Spring green and went directly to green. Colors were so lush today under cloudy skies and a sun that was trying hard. It made for interesting light. I was using the 500 in most of the rookery shots. I don't have a good handle on f stop with that lens, but the richness was pretty substantial today.
There were babies, geese babies and I believe heron babies in nest 5. The mergansers were all over the place. But I did not see any baby merganser, can't wait to look again tomorrow morning.
This is a sandpiper in a rookery in W. Ma., but I don't know what kind. I love them. There such funny fowl.
Again there were cardinals all around. The cemetery was loud with them.
And bees!!!
