Day 158
June 7, 2022
Who are you looking for?
Met Charmae for breakfast early this morning when it was sunny and blue with a slight breeze. It felt good to be in town and sitting in a café on Main St. with a friend. I think the key word is friend here.
I also made dinner for me and T. and we ate on the porch and gabbed in our usual meandering way. It was good medicine for me even though my cooking skills have fallen over the years.
Rookery was warm, a little humid, but very windy today. There was more heron movement than in the last couple of days. There was also a bird song I didn't recognize. According to my phone it was an Eastern Woodcock.
I'm trying not to think I have a sore throat, I believe it is the over abundance of pollen in the air this week. Hoping that this rain that has come to visit will be a relief from perfect weather but horrendous allergies.
