Day 188

A more productive day.

 

Too tired to be intelligent tonight. 

Rookery was lovely today.  It was 81 and sunny and the humidity was a little too high, but not that bad.

Got out of work just at sunset.  It started off so lovely but got very cloudy very quickly.

No herons in the trees at all, but the goose family is almost completely grown.  There were some ducks in the water, very few other birds.  Dragonflies are multiplying, whch should make those frogs happy. 

I am amazed at how few reeds there are this year.  I wrote in my journal a year ago that the reeds were so thick in the front that I couldn't see the water.  We also got way more rain by this time in July of 2021.
