little hotter a little more humid

But just another beautiful day.  No herons in the rookery and it was quite peaceful up there.  I did not see much today, but I heard a few normal birds, like the woodpecker.

I kind of wish I had pictures of my friends tonight.  I didn't take any outside of the rookery ride. Tomorrow I will be more focused.  

And my thrill of the day is that my black eyed susans did come back this year.  Last year they were whacked down before they blossomed.  Today I looked down and there are a lot of them poking out of the high weeds.  I'm so happy.
