Day 191
July 10, 2022
Thank you Paul for all your work
2 Vultures Circle
Sparrows and young crow sound off.
Robin is silent, home to sleep.
Orange day lilies poke out of
green beds of leaves and growth.
The hum of the highway
lulls me further towards rest.
Sunday noontime in July
Muscles let go of old winter tension.
I am consoled, I am content,
soaking in the sun’s healing rays.
Taco and Poetry is a new Human Error Publishing event. It was 82 degrees and quite pleasant in the shade. Amie and I both read, enjoyed the sun and the great company. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon.
Came back here and had a sweet dinner. Lovely day.
