Day 198
July 17, 2022
90 degrees, too sunny to be a model

There are at least eight birds in that picture.  I could see them all, but they were behind trees and walking in shallow water.  (We need rain so badly.) It was too complicated for my lens to focus in on with any accuracy  at all.  You have to look really closely to see the goose, heron and mallard.

I wanted to go closer to photograph the new goats, but I didn't think I should.  Apparently others are due this week  They are so cute.

There were several baby birds, gold finch, swallows, sparrows, and I think baby grackles.  There must have been a weekend birthing blitz.  I think we would have had fledging herons this week.  Oh well.

I did drive over to the canal this evening.  There were a few geese around, but I think the day was too hot for man or beast.

I didn't find the brain power to get anything written today.  I really need a new printer.  I want to physically organize the projects I'm trying to stay on top of and finish, but I'm stopped in mid air all the time.  Part of me just wanted to watch tv today.  I did some laundry and I did my dishes and I took some photos.  I did ok.
