Day 220

Happy Birthday, Charmae.

 

Little too warm today for comfort.  But I got to go back into the pool this morning which my body was very happy about.  Oh what a difference it makes to do the water aerobics.  

Also I ate lunch at the Coop and visited with friends.  It's been awhile since I've done that.  

It's interesting because I did get use to being alone last week although it took a while and I did have 2 visits during the week.  But it's great to be able to go somewhere where you'll see a friend to check in with.   Swimming does that, and I was very active and social today, but hanging out and eating lunch is wonderful.

Tomorrow I will get more things done. 

It was 98 when I went up to the rookery today.  Only 95 at the rookery with a very nice breeze. but there were few birds. I couldn't hear any.  

It's almost 9 and it is in the high 80s/  They say one more day of this and then we go down the low 80s and less humidity.  August has been hot, actually the last few weeks have been hot.  I'm still complaining about the weather though.  Although, some rain would be good.

This gladiola was the only thing lost in the storm the other night at Ember and Karen's.  I stopped and picked it up on my way out the driveway.  It's gorgeous.
