Day 225
August 13, 2022
Just Roots garden
After Salon I went and got EJ and took a ride with them. Then they came and worked the ticket table with me for the last performance of A Long Moment In The South by Richard Horton, a repeat performance from last night. We had fun working together, as usual. They are going back to Bard in 2 weeks. I will miss having them around.
This is Jamie and Anja's dog. He is pro choice. This demonstration was high energy and very fun this morning. There were a few issues happening in front of Lava today. Very exciting to see.
You probably can't see it, but there's a red shouldered hawk in the upper photo. I watched him fly across the back of the rookery and land for a bit. I went up to the rookery by 9:30 this morning, quite beautiful. It was turtle pond this morning. There were also a few big birds, a couple of hawks and a vulture for sure.
I'd love to play some cards tonight. I may start playing solitaire again. I miss cards. Anyway, I am very tired so I'm off to bed early.
