Special people came to see me today

I had a sweet day.  Sarah came to see me and we had lunch on the porch together.  EJ joined us and so did cousin chipmunk. I think by the time I am 75 I'm going to have to live closer to Sarah.  I think she would be the one of the next generation I want to always laugh with.

Two of my girls being goofy together, it is kind of amazing how happy it makes me.

The three of us went up to the rookery around 3.  We saw more birds sitting on the porch than we did at the rookery.  My hummingbird came up to the porch screen and looked in.  

I had a poem I submitted to Silkworm accepted.  That was exciting.  Then I read some new poems at 3rd Tuesday that I think were well received.

I also had a visit from a really old friend, well, she's not old, but we've been friends almost 40 years.  Katie was younger than EJ is now when she came to work for me at The Literacy Project.  We were very close for many years and I love seeing her and catching up.  Overall, today was a very loving day.
