Day 235
August 23, 2022
Rain is powerful and boy does it feel like a blessing today.

Once again they load backwards so the world sees my day from night to morning.
The gardens at Mesa are loving this rain.  The colors there are really deep and the tomato and pepper crops are very large.
There was some growth in the water level, but what was really noticeable were the number of happy birds at the rookery.  there were goldfinch, a hawk, kingfishers, kingbird, ducks and who knows what else being really active.

I took a tiny walk to see what I could see.  There were the norm, frogs, turtles, dragonflies, bugs, a lot of bugs. The humidity was 97 percent, but the timp was only 70.

I'm working every evening for the rest of the week.  Tomorrow night is the first evening of my new series, Writers Read.  It's going to be fun.

I actually did take a short ride this morning.  I didn't see any livestock, but a lot of wet and a lot of green, and thee beginnings of oranges and reds.  Fall is on its way.

Happy life.  Rain is a blessing.  I love it.
