A Bird Feast

One more day left in August.  Kids have all gone back to school, the year has begun.  I have felt as though I was on vacation the last few days.  I've gotten some stuff done, but I have been very relaxed.  I had lunch with a friend and Gregg came over with his dinner and we ate on the porch and gabbed for 3 hours with no mosquitoes to drive me crazy.

I think we have some new baby goats.  I'm not sure, but I think this guy is not very old.

There were some ducks and one or 2 little birds at the rookery.  It was 90 degrees, but a small breeze made it tolerable.  The birds don't like the heat though.

And there were no turtles.

I keep dreaming of new projects before I finish the last one.  I'm going to work on the proposal tomorrow.  

Vacation week.  really.......
