Day 245
September 2, 2022
Sunset on the canal

The moon is setting, all afternoon I've been watching a crescent moon hang over our world and slowly slide down the sky.  The blue was so blue today so the moon was like polished ivory since about 430 this afternoon.  Sitting over the rookery, it was just a little too high to be part of a landscape.

20 turkeys in the pasture.  I think turkeys get big fast.
Ducks and geese move slowly in the canal at sunset.  There were 3 heron there tonight.

I did not get as much done as I had hoped. I couldn't seem to finish a single task.  I think when my allergies flare up I become brain drained.  It is extremely difficult to complain about this weather, though.
I'm looking forward to the long weekend.  Maybe I'll go to a couple farms tomorrow afternoon and fill my house full of flowers.
