Day 250
September 7, 2022
Happy Birthday Cynthia Stowe

Back at the Y today, makes such a huge difference.  Took a short walk at the rookery and felt able because my joints were already oiled.  So grateful for the pool
Went to the rookery around 4:30, it was 70, and cloudy and silent.  The predominent life was wildflowers.  They are much more abundant this summer, I think because the lack of water allowed to seed and then this past week watered them.  The Nodding Buttertick? which is part of the Aster family was all over the place.  It's beautiful.

The water table is way up and the little islands where the turtles have been hanging in August were all under water.  I saw a few frogs, heard a Jay and other than that there was silence.

We got to grill tonight, Cauliflower got burnt, but everything was delicious.  Trying to experiment with my phone.
