PARADE DAY!!!

I went raspberry picking today UPINGILL.  They are so beautiful,  If I had a better back I would've  picked four times as many.

The goats were all out at the farm.  The thistle has begun to seed and blow away so when a little goat goes into the thicket she creates a storm of seeds.  

And then the parade, which is not the same without EJ.  This is the 3rd year they have not been with me, but I still am thinking how to do the fair some after we've finished in the parade.  

Paul's the official photographer from the paper.  He walked right into the Pirate's bubbles on purpose to get that inside shot, I couldn't resist.

Then he was followed by Roxanne and Dick, or better known as the Mayor and her hubby.  

Old friends!!!!!  GCC allies.

Tonight was Al's first play reading, I love watching the process so much.

While candy was being thrown, and I was trying to avoid it, a young girl walked up to me and gave me this flower instead.  She was so gracious, really pleased me.  About 5 floats later, maybe BBBS, a seven or eight year old, who I would bet did not speak much English, brought me a tootsie roll, touching.
