Day 252
September 9, 2022
Happy Birthday, Corrigan
Hanging out on Jan's porch with the writing spider and the monarchs on Joe Pile, here. Nina got cherry tomatoes and raspberries and a broadwing hawk traveled through.
The rookery was 79 at 4:45 and humidity was 57%. It was clear, but not blue, almost hazy, but not really, no birds, with the exception of one very quick wood duck.
After dinner I went to find the moon rise. It was actually bright red. I just sat and watched it rise above the Connecticut. So gorgeous.
