Writers Read was wonderful tonight

 

Once again the photos are reversed.  My day ended at Lava with Writers Read.  I loved it.

Before I went to work I went to the canal to see how the birds were doing.  The smell of low tide was apparent, and the lily pads were beginning to wilt.  Many of the wildflowers have seeded and it continues to amaze me that it is 20 to 30 feet deep in places and 1 foot deep in others.  And how does that electric plant effect that water and therefore, those birds?
