A long day

I had a lot of appointments today so I did not make it to the rookery, but I did go over to the canal just before an early dinner with Edite.  

There is a family of eagles that live there and depending on what time of day you go over you get to see them flying, fishing or hanging out high in a nearby tree. Today I saw one very high up and far away.

The moon is a tiny sliver up there in the sky.  It looks so peaceful and gentle, it's hard to believe that there's this huge hurricane and storm creating havoc.
