Successful day for photos

The light was so funky today and my camera is breaking down, but I decided to play with a liittle.  Patrick and I went to the canal.  The variety of ending wildflowers is  extraordinary.  

We also saw a lot of cool birds today.  In the yard there was a pair of blue birds and several Baird Sparrows.

At the canal there was a red headed woodpecker, a heron, many C. geese and mallards.  We looked for the eagles, but did not find them.

The orchard is full of apples.  I love looking at those rows of apples and pumpkins and asters and mums.  

Drove the old Upper/Lower Rds. and the colors are just beginning. 2 years ago I did this same ride, but it was sunnier and the colors were further along.

Fun day for experimenting.
