Juried the 3rd annual community art show tonight.

Rain was the dominant feature of today.  The rookery was rainy and foggy and ducks were the only birds in the water.  They do love their water.

The bees and the bluebirds were dominating the driveway today.  I was sitting on the porch on the phone watching the bluebirds freak out on the choke berries.  There other small birds on the ground, but the blue birds were flying all over the berries.

I did talk to the police about the bear.  They're betting on it being stuffed.  Sometimes hunters bring them to a taxidermist and then pick them later and bring them home.  He was just glad I didn't go running over to save "a dog" and have a bear fall into me.

Unfortunately the rain knocked a lot of leaves down.  It's going to be lovely this weekend, but I think the coloring will be completely different.
