Day 288
October 15, 2022
What a gorgeous day.

Not sure what to write about tonight.  I can tell you that nieces and nephews are a wonderful invention.  And that I am particularly blessed with a hoard of wonderful ones.

I can tell you about watching a bald eagle circle something in the highway medium and flying almost as low as my car before he swooped down.  I can't tell you if he was successful because I had driven by.

I can tell you how much I love hearing my family play music.  These two have gotten so good over the year.  It is so fantastic.

This is Josh.  He walked up to Grace and Jake with his harps and asked if he could join them.  They said sure and the three of them played for another 20 minutes.  Then we found out he was from Georgia and taking a road trip to see the north.  It was the first time both he and Jake had seen a New England fall and it is peak weekend for sure right now.  Melody and I invited him to join us at a family picnic tomorrow where I hope more music will be played.

Ran up to the rookery.  Not sure what the temperature was.  It had been 66 but I think it had cooled down.  There were no clouds.  There were geese and wood ducks in the water.  The wood ducks are beginning to have their gender colors.  It really was lovely today.
