Phenomenal picture day

 

I spent an hour and a half at the canal.  You have to do that in order to catch the action.  This guy basically let me walk up to him and I got to witness him  catching two fish at once.  He had to let the big one go.  Because I had put the lens back on automatic focus I didn't get a clear shot of the fish.  He let it go and then shock his head sending water splashing and swallowing the smaller catch.

Further down the road 2 more were on the sand bar with the geese.  Just as they were beginning to play eagles started soaring above.  The herons took off, didn't see where they went, again it was like they vanished.

I got one clear pic of an eagle, but not all that interesting.  The bees were better.

I drove Grace and Jake to the airport; actually enjoyed the ride.  When I got back I ran up to the rookery and it was ablaze.  It was so beautiful.

I took the two wider landscapes with the iphone.  It does do better than my old phone, but still.

What a beautiful day!!!!

Tomorrow I go back to work.  I've really had a good week off.  I'm so glad the guys came up from Georgia and all the others came to visit.  I love them so much
