Day 295
October 22, 2022
Rookery at sunset

Up to the rookery at 10 past 5 tonight.  Sunset was just beginning.  Geese filled the pond and came close.  There were no other birds visible.  It was 62.

Another stunning day.  I'm not sure if it hit 70, but it may have.  I worked and was inside until 2:30, but we kept the doors open and let the fresh air in.

So this is about an hour later than I shot yesterday and everything was much closer, less spread out and no otters.  The leaves are beginning to fall and I think I saw a very large nest on my ride.

There were not the grazing animals out either.  Yesterday was just one after another, but today I only saw the horses.

By the time the pink started to take over the sky I was almost back down in the flatland.  So I went to the graveyard for the first time in a really long time.
And it was so pretty.
