It was a long day

Woke up this morning to a challenge that lead me to try to shoot in black and white all day.  I did a lot, but then i went into the Montague Center graveyard, and then over to Leverett Lake and I had to go back to color.

I haven't been to this graveyard in a few years.  It's the one that my friends Bob and Cynthia Stowe are buried in.  Several new stones surround them, and they too aren't as well kept as they were the first few years.  But it is a beautiful spot to sit and think.

I went over to where David is at a friend's cabin on the lake.  An osprey was hunting just before sunset.  We had a sweet dinner and watched the colors change as it got dark.  Beautiful!!!
