Day 312
November 8, 2022
Actually got out of the house today

I slept better last night and I got up early.  Didn't get to see any of the eclipse, but I could tell it was an interesting morning, there was wind and subtle color with the sunrise.  Lots of friends posted early morning pics, so before 6:30 I was already thinking about photographing the world.

It's so odd to think about going out in the world, but not allowing myself to be near people.  I couldn't go into any buildings or near groups, I stayed to myself, but soaked some sun up.

I saw a red tailed, an eagle, an adolescent eagle, along with many ducks, many cool ducks and some geese.  There were a lot of swan in the cove.  It was kind of a golden day, even though a little lonely.  I did this for how many months in 2020?

I have been deeply loving my family this week.  I've heard from all of my siblings throughout the week and many of the next 2 generations.  I've been sharing music with Mike and jotting down interesting memories.  I started a letter to Barb today asking her what she remembers from 1955 and when we lived in the Capt's house in Westport.  I remember the stories, but not the actually memories.

got some Chinese take out for dinner, but unfortunately, don't think it settled that well.  I didn't eat any sauces.  Oh well, most of what I ate today was protein.
