Day 318
November 14, 2022
Happy Birthday, Robban.

The idea was to get up this morning and start my regular routine over again after two weeks of COVID and post COVID life.  After looking directly at grief over the past week I was going to move forward back in my own life.  So I had breakfast and made it to the Y.  Did my class, had a hot tub and felt really tired, so I went to the Coop to have some lunch and do the puzzle.

It just made me more tired.  Decided to not go to staff meeting and just go home to a nap.  Got into the car, texted my colleagues and promptly could not start my car.  I was out of gas, stuck and brain stumped.

Thank God for community.  I called work and the troops rallied and came out to save me.  It was one error after another and ended out making us all laugh.

Remember T. had to nail the side door closed on the garage last week?  Well my gas can was behind the nailed door and there was no way to get from the front to the back.  That's just an example of the barriers we had to overcome.  But we did, nothing like three really bright women to do a task together.  I'm so grateful for my Lava friends.

I did run up to the rookery right afterwards,  It was 39 there and blue and still.  Nothing was happening, there was no action.

The goats were out at the farm.  They had a ram visiting, stirring things up a little.  But I watched them for a bit.

Then I came home to my nap and some attention to things I needed to do.  Now I'll return to my poetry for tomorrow is 3rd Tuesday and I want to read some new work.
