Day 322
November 18, 2022
Been 12 years since I've seen this view.

A very different ride today, one that I did in 2009 and 2010 almost every weekend.  I had not done it in 12 years, though, and what a flashback.

Connecticut beaches are filled with tiny shells, oyster, clam, scallop, a crab leg or two, and flat stones, thin yellow or orange shells, lots of different little animals.

And there were fallen autumn leaves all over the grounds, too, some were a cantaloupe color, so lovely.

We visited Barbie for a couple hours and then went to the Guildford beach and marina and talked to this herring gull.
An entire day with my beautiful friend, David, and a touch of life that is difficult, but precious, and when you have a friend who gets you and just is with you during those moments, you can make it through them with some grace.  I love you Barb.
