Day 325

November 21, 2022

The day my bestest was born making many of us sooooooo happy.

The otters were around today.  My eyesight has deteriorated and when I looked out across the pond today I saw what I thought was a big log.  the ice is not thick and there are places where the water is moving.  With a second look I realized that the otters were visiting.  So fun to watch.

I almost missed the sunset because I was enjoying the otters.  But I made it up and around to where I could look towards the west.  Something has gone terribly wrong with my camera. 

It is not calculating the light properly. There were several deer and livestock in the fields tonight, but the color is all wrong.  I didn't see any big birds, but many four footed creatures.  

It was cold up there tonight. about 39 or so.  The goats were out. They've grown and are getting furry.  Winter is creeping through the cracks.  I don't think we are supposed to get snow this week, but the time has arrived.

EJ, it is your birthday, you are grown up, I cannot believe how fast these past 22 years have gone.  I can't imagine what life was like without your sense of humor near nor even a virtual kiss good night, those are just elements of my life; favorite elements of my life.   I hope today was warm and fun.  Can't wait to see you.
