A Busy Day

It started with breakfast with Patrick and Edite and rapidly moved to LAVA for work.  I was almost hyper today at work, for me I was hyper.  We were dead for the first hour, but slowly but surely a small crowd came through.  We're open for local holiday shopping for the next 3 Saturdays in a row.

I went up to the rookery at 3:45 and it was 47 and still and the light was fascinating.  I saw no birds, and no other animals on my ride either.  Drove up and around my hillside and the down to Northampton.

Met David in Northampton and sat in a cafe and people watched.  Then met the family for EJ's family birthday celebration.  We were in a Japanese restaurant.  The food was so good there.  It was fun, we laughed.  

EJ giving their brother a dirty look which he actually got on video.  It was a nice dinner.  I feel lucky this weekend getting so much time with my close friends and my families.  It's been comforting.

I did not write today which is too bad, but tomorrow will be my last day at Write Nov.  

Fascinating being in Northampton with all of the holiday lights and the smell of pot and brightness.  Thorne's was full of decorations, things, capitalism, people, and the static of shopping.  I enjoyed being in a far corner watching it, not so much walking through it.
