I think it's a goldfinch nest.

Ok, so my camera is really being funky now.  Look at these landscapess with the line through the middle.  Then there were others that were almost black and a few that were white.  I didn't change settings at all, I just kept shooting. 

There were plenty of wood ducks in the rookery today.  I went up there at 3:30 before I went to work.  There wasn't much happening on the hill, but it was nice to check in.

We had a sweet group of 15 to read stuff we'd all written during the month.  It was very nice reading.

Everybody is listening so intently to Nina read, we are a good audience and we read really cool stuff tonight. 

I think I'm going to put together a Writers Read Anthology next winter.  It's sometimes frustrating to hear a piece early on and never know what happened to it.  I also think I'm going to create a submission chart for the group.

Holidays have begun and the lights are bright.  Welcome to December.
