Day 339

Went on a work field trip today.

One minute I'm fine, the next minute I think I'm going to burst out crying, the next I'm sick and then not.  It's been a week.  I need to organize my eating again or something.  I need to give myself a break but not gain weight.  OMG why does life have to be so complex.

I went down to the Botanical Gardens to see the photo show about agricultural immigrants.  It's really interesting and I think we can use it to start our project (IndiVisible) off by showing it at LAVA.

Afterwards I went through the green houses and had some pretty wonderful memories.   They added their new room and the Asian garden when EJ was about 5.  The trees and plants are quite grown up after 17 years. 

The consistent patterns of life across plant, animal, and space will always amaze me.  I think I'm going to go back in the next month or so and write in rain forest.  

I walked around the outside, too.  I love the details of the building and the trees outside it.

It was a good day.  I learned stuff, I was in the pool, I felt friendship and love, got to interact with a 3 year old.

Yep, it was a good day.
