Day 341
December 7, 2022
Happy Birthday, Happy 50th, Jess!!!
I was going to photograph the full moon rising over a lake tonight. I had everything ready, but the weather decided not to cooperate. So instead I found myself at Edite's eating a great dinner but with no photos for the day. Thus, I photographed her Christmas cheer. I always love this living room this time of year.
Remember back in September Patrick and I saved a goldfish whose human passed away. We put him in a plastic bag and brought him home to Edite. I think I named him Oliver then, but she was not informed of that name. He got along swimmingly with her''s. Now they're best of friends and doing really well.
This week has made me terribly aware of how much I want a pet.
I just looked back to 2010. I was very ill, I had a terrible internal bacterial infection and it took a few weeks for me to recover. Then in 2015 I was not ill and took beautiful photos that day, although December is not my best photo month. I am dampened by the lack of light. But I must admit, today, although again dealing with grief, I am so glad to be in better health. Yes, here's to taking care of me.
