Day 355
December 21, 2022
Happy Solstice

The photos look better on the camera than they do on my computer, not sure if that is true on all computers.

Wednesday is my very busy day.

So today I didn't get to the rookery until 345 and it was 30 degrees.  There was an electric company truck there with Georgia plates and two guys working on the poles.  They must have been sent due to the potential ice and wind.  But they were not used to the cold or the rookery.  They were kind of in awe of it and were interested in my picture taking.  They were fun.

I said, are you really up here from Georgia?

"Georgia?  oh no, we're here from New York."

What are you doing here? I questioned.

"Good question."  was the reply.

We all laughed.

The year has almost ended.  10 more days.  I'm curious about peoples' highlights.  I'm hoping I have a chapbook from 2022.  I'm going to work on the heron book while I'm in Vermont and finish at least one project.

I get sent presents throughout my day by my extraordinarily gifted friends.  It is part of my abundance in life that I am so grateful for.  I wake up to beautiful images and touches from the ether.  Thank you my friends.  Really, thank you.
