Rocky made a friend

Very sweet day today starting with a good night's sleep and a bowl of yogurt and peaches in a sun filled room.

This afternoon Di and EJ came up for a sleep over.  EJ and I bought groceries and cooked a nice dinner.  We set the table and enjoyed a delicious meal of salmon and cauliflower and guac.

EJ played for us and Di and I caught up and then we watched Three Pines.  Doesn't this sound like a normal sweet vacation day.  Very lovely.  We ate fruit salad.

But the best part was that EJ and Rocky made friends.  He never lets anyone near him other than his family, but they sat at the top of the stairwell and Rocky came to them.   

 

I wonder if the smell of shrimp on our hands was helpful with the cat.   

I did write a lot earlier today and that was good.  Tomorrow I'll get a chance to work on my heron book.
